The ELISA test system for Tomato spotted wilt virus is based on a double antibody sandwich (DAS) protocol with a monoclonal antibody used for both capture and detection.
The same antibodies used in the TSWV ELISA are also utilized in the lateral flow TSWV ImmunoStrip test. The TSWV ImmunoStrip is an ideal scouting tool. Simply grind a plant sample in the special extract bag and insert the ImmunoStrip into the sample. Results can be seen in minutes. TSWV ImmunoStrips must be used with SEB1 buffer. SEB1 buffer is available in a sample extract bag ACC 00936, or as a powder ACC 00996. Please see accessories for a listing of SEB1 buffer products.
