Flashkit® Aac

Acronym: Aac
Seed-transmissible: yes
This bacterium causes watermelon fruit blotch, an economically destructive disease of watermelon in the southeastern, eastern, and Midwestern United States. Losses of marketable fruit can be near 90 percent.
The ELISA and ImmunoStrip are reliable tools for Acidovorax avenae subsp. citrulli (Aac), the causal agent of bacterial fruit blotch in watermelon, squash, pumkins, and cantaloupe. The test can be used with leaves, fruit, bacterial cultures, and seedlings exhibiting symptoms of Aac.
The ImmunoStrips for Aac are available in sizes of 5, 25, or 250 strips. Strips must be used with SEB4 sample extract buffer which is availble in ready to use sample extract bags (ACC 00958) or as a powder (ACC 01958/005.7). See accessories list for details. ImmunoStrip kits include the ready to use sample extract bags.
