This new kit, based on polyclonal antibodies, can detect all PPV isolates: PPV-C, PPV-M, PPV-D, PPV-EA, PPV-W as well as the recombinant strain, PPV-Rec.
This test has been developed in collaboration with Dr. D’Ann Rochon from the Agriculture & Agri-Food in Canada. The test has been then evaluated using the INRA - Bordeaux collection of PPV isolates and at AAFC and USDA ARS - APHIS.
Agdia Biofords participates in the U. S National Plum Pox Virus Survey program, under the direction and guidance of USDA-APHIS. Agdia PPV ELISA kits have been used in the U. S. National PPV Survey for the last 3 years.
ELISA kit formats is a double antibody sandwich (DAS) ELISA, offered as a Reagent Set. It is available in 4 formats: 96, 500, 1000 and 5000 estwells.
